Widely consumed as bread in ancient times, barley is making a comeback for its nutrition and flavor. It makes particularly delicious quick breads, like biscuits and pancakes. Our 5 gallon food grade bucket contains 35lbs of whole, unmilled barley berries and an oxygen absorber. These grains are not pearled; the whole grain is intact.
 
This particular year's crop received considerable rain at harvest, slightly staining these berries. They still perform well in bakes.
