Our Farm

In the 2010's we began extensive experimentation with a host of grains: oats, barley, lintels, einkorn, spelt, turkey wheat, emmer, peas, and many more. Most of these seeds where only available in small, garden sized packets.

Varieties were selected for their productivity in the Texas Panhandle. Eventually our test plots where too large to harvest by hand, and we purchased an old Allis Chalmers All Crop 60 combine.

A processing facility was built to dehull and clean the grains for packaging. It uses a homemade dehuller - Thanks Dad! - an old Clipper 67D screen cleaner, and a Forsberg gravity table.
